MEET CECILIA

FROM STRATEGIST TO DESIGNER

I’m Ceci brand strategist, designer, and photographer behind Rainbow Lab. Three creative minds, one point of contact.

A woman in a black strapless dress and heels is squatting on a white photography backdrop, posing for a photo taken by a person kneeling and holding a camera. A large studio softbox light is visible on the left, and black curtains and a white screen are in the background.

The Strategist . The Photographer . The Designer

I THINK I'VE BEEN IN BRANDING LONGER THAN I REALISED.

I'm Cecilia, the person behind Rainbow Lab.

My fascination with branding started when I was just nine years old. For a school assignment, we had to create an advertisement for anything we wanted. I decided to create my own political party.

Growing up in Uruguay, we had the Red Party, the White Party, and others. So I created The Blue Party, or Partido Azulado. I designed the campaign, created the candidate, chose the colours, drew the visuals, and even came up with a slogan that rhymed in Spanish:

"Partido Azulado, porque el Partido Azulado está a su lado."

Looking back, I realise I was already thinking about branding. I just didn't know there was a name for it.

Years later, I entered a photography competition where we had to create one photograph that encouraged school children to use public rubbish bins.

The World Cup was on, so I dressed my little cousin in the Uruguayan football colours, gave her a superhero cape, and photographed her in a popular park, placing a plastic bottle in a rubbish bin while striking a superhero pose.

I took the photo with the worst phone ever and somehow, I won.

The prize? My very first camera.

Looking back, I think both stories say a lot about how my brain works. I've always loved turning an idea into something people can see, feel, and remember.

Today, after more than 10 years working across branding, design, photography, and digital marketing, I've brought it all together through Rainbow Lab.

I work with business owners who are ready to be different to build brands that stand out, attract the right people, and become the business everyone is talking about (in a good way, of course).

Because your brand shouldn't look like everyone else's.
